Uniform

At our school, pupils are not required to wear a school uniform and are encouraged to wear their own comfortable clothing each day.

We recognise that for many children and young people, particularly those with SEND and sensory needs, traditional school uniforms can cause discomfort, anxiety and sensory difficulties. Allowing pupils to wear clothing that feels comfortable and appropriate for them helps to support wellbeing, self-regulation and readiness to learn.

We ask that clothing is suitable for a school environment and allows pupils to take part safely in all aspects of school life.

Our approach reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive and understanding environment where every pupil feels comfortable, respected and able to thrive.
