Science

We believe science has something to offer every students and our Science curriculum aspires to:

● Produce learners who are skilled critical thinkers, innovators, problem-solvers and team players.

● Inspire pupils and help to develop a love of learning by delivering a practical, diverse, and engaging curriculum which challenges them and wills them to succeed.

● Build a solid foundation of skills and knowledge with the aim of equipping them for future learning and employment, and enable them to achieve their full potential.

We will aim to do this by providing relevant, engaging Science lessons which have a hands-on,practical element, whenever possible. We will provide opportunities and challenge for all learners to achieve their full potential. As students transition through the school they will build a solid foundation of knowledge and practical skills through effective teaching. This will enable pupils to better understand the social, economic and environmental implications of science that
will encourage pupils to contribute positively to society.
